What does HealthCareCompare actually do?+

It's a research aid for UK PMI brokers. You sign in, ask a plain-English question about benefits, exclusions or limits, and get a cited answer drawn from the insurers' own broker documents.

Which insurers are covered?+

Five UK PMI insurers' published broker materials are in the corpus today. The list is shown inside your workspace, and coverage will expand over time.

Is this a quote engine?+

No. The platform doesn't generate quotes or prices and doesn't integrate with insurer quote portals. It answers research questions about benefit structures — the broker handles the quote and the advice.

Do I need to enter client details?+

No. Questions are about insurer benefit structures, not individual clients. You don't need to provide client names, dates of birth or medical history to use it.

How accurate is the AI?+

Every claim is cited back to the source PDF, page and clause so you can verify it in one click. The platform is a research aid — always confirm against the source before quoting.

Is HealthCareCompare GDPR compliant?+

The platform is designed around UK GDPR principles — data minimisation, lawful processing, role-based access and isolated workspaces. See the Security page for the full picture.

Does the AI train on our queries?+

No. Google Gemini is used under enterprise terms that disable training on customer inputs. Your queries stay yours.
